KORAGEOUS ‘Captain’; calved March 2006 was purchased at the 2008 DN Sale.
Sired by Billabong Jackpot out of Rondel 506 who goes back to Minlacowie Moses.
Captain was purchased for his tremendous scale, depth of flank and temperament. We were chasing a bit more leg within our herd and Captains calves are showing this great attribute as well as tremendous muscle pattern.
4 bulls sold at the 2011 National Bull Sale to avg $ 10,875, topping at $20,000.
3 ‘unjoined’ females sold at the 2011 National Female Sale to avg $3416, @ 16 mths of age; VV Tigger topped that sale selling for $5250.
@ 30mths, Captain weighed 966kg with a scrotal circum of 40cm. Scans: 10/8. EMA: 122cm2
