6 UNJOINED HEIFERS AVG $2208, TOPPING AT $4300 'CREAM OF THE CROP SALE'; Thanks to all bidders of our heifers, 4 out of the 6 heifers went to repeat buyers. Thanks to Boiling Springs Stud, Sugerland Stud, Condamine Stud, Robert Johnstone of Banana & Sally Terry of Haden.

'VALE VIEW M' PURCHASES FIRST HEIFER; Welcome Lamont Keepsake 339; purchased from the 2011 MAGS Sale for $4750 for Vale View M Stud. All proceeds of this heifer went to the McGrath Foundation. We purchased this heifer for our son Mac's new stud; 'Vale View M'.
Both Dave & Colleens mothers passed away at an early age with breast cancer, so we are happy to have helped out with the donation for the McGrath Foundation.
Thanks to the MAGS Team for donating the proceeds of this heifer to a very good cause!

Thanks to Peter Gates for purchasing our successful used sire; Vale View Slasher. Slasher has put some wonderful calves on the ground for us, but due to our stud size and his bloodlines already being used within our herd, we had to offer him for sale. We have kept semen from Slasher and will use them down the track.

CONGRATULATIONS to Rondel Stud for selling 3 Vale View Overload sons to average $15,834 as part of the Rondel 2011 DN Sale draft. Rondel Night Watch sired by Overload sold for $28,000 to Glenlands Stud. 'VV Overload' is a full brother to VV Playboy our lead sire.
WELCOME NEW SIRE; Connor Enis; purchased at this years DN Sale. Enis was purchased for his balance, slick coat, faultless temperament & tidy underline.
@ 22mths Enis weighed 690kg with a scrotal circum of 40cm & scans of 9/6, EMA: 131cm2.

on winning 'Grand Champion Female' with Vale View Sequence (and calf) & also Bundy Ariat (calf of Vale View Ruby) winning her class at the 2011 Gympie Show. Sequence was top price female at 2009 'Cream of the Crop' sale & 'VV Ruby' sold at the 2009 National Female Sale.
Sequence & calf has backed up this win to go onto win 'Grand Champion Bos Indicus Female' at the Fraser Coast Show as well as Gin Gin Show.

NOV '10 - CREAM OF THE CROP RESULTS: Joined females topped at $2600, unjoined females topped at $2100.
Thanks to Paul & Lisa Laycock who purchased 5 of our 8 heifers, also thanks to Koota Pk Stud, the Schmidt Family from Caboolture and the Spring Family from Harlin on their purchases, as well as the underbidders of our draft.

To Mac & Gayle Shann of Lamont Stud in topping the MAGS Sale with Lamont Inmate; a son of Vale View Magnum for $23,000. For the second time in 3 years topping the MAGS Sale with a VV Magnum son.
To Rondel Stud for their success at the NQ DM Bull & Female Sale. Heifer; Rondel Nariko sold for top price of $ 4750. This heifer is sired by Vale View Overload (full brother to VV Playboy).
Also; A Vale View Lawman heifer sold as top price unjoined and Vale View Quol (VV Ollie) sold as second top price female at the Bruella Park Dispersal Sale.

AUG '10 - EKKA SHOW RESULTS - 11mth old VV Typhoon whirls into Bris for his 2nd show and gains Jnr Champion Bull and first in the U12 mth bull class, Typhoon is sired by our lead sire VV Playboy.
VV Smarty Pants shows her 'consistent style' taking out the 20 & U 22 mths Female class and going on to win Reserve Snr Female. Smarty is sired by VV Oscar out of VV Kandy who is the dam of VV Playboy.
VV Ripper wins the Bull 24 & U 30 mths class. Ripper is also sired by VV Playboy and is Lot 256 at the DN Sale in Sept.
